Can you believe it is only September and we are already hearing reports about H1N1? If you will remember, it burst onto the scene last year as a potential "pandemic", literally scaring the daylights out of the world and effectively closing entire countries. Wow. This year the CDC has had a little more time to research and learn about H1N1, and they have lots of information regarding how to prevent getting Swine flu and how to take care of yourself if you do contract it. You can find all sorts of information at www.cdc.gov, along with what immunizations are needed to help keep you healthy.
Although you cannot control other people's habits, you can take charge of your health by washing your hands frequently and not drinking after others, the two most common ways to spread germs. This is where aquaBling can help you. Keep one in your desk drawer for bottled water at the office. Clip one onto your gym bag to keep track of your bottle while working out. Keep one on your purse strap for public events, barbecues, or unexpected outings. Sure, they're fun, but they might just save you from a hefty doctor's bill or missing work for a few days.
For those of you with school-aged girls...keep one clipped to their backpacks for cheerleading practice, volleyball games, or just hanging out with friends.
Happy fall, everybody!
