October is breast cancer awareness month, and what an important month it is. Last year over 250 thousand women were diagnosed with and underwent treatment for breast cancer. Undoubtedly, most of you have been affected personally in some way by breast cancer, whether you, yourself, were diagnosed, or a friend or family member. And treatment, although vital, is long, painful, and life-altering for the women who are going through it. Yet somehow, these women are able to stay strong, persevere, and often are the ones providing comfort their friends and family members while being treated, themselves. Amazing.

That’s why aquaBling,Grill Charms, and Flexflop have teamed up to give just a few of these women a well-deserved gift for their strength and courage. Each week in October we will be giving away a gift basket containing pink ribbon aquaBling water charms, Grill Charms “Pink Collection” meat charms, and Flexflop pink emergency flip-flop sandals. Who are we giving them to? That’s where you come in! We want you to nominate someone in your life who has survived or is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Simply send their name, address, and a brief description of why you nominated her to contest@myaquabling.com. Gift basket recipients are chosen at random each week in October, and nominations stay in the running for the entire month. In addition, we will be posting a few of your nomination stories on our facebook pages to serve as an inspiration to all women.
